Extended dynamic range (WDR) is a feature that has recently been used in industrial cameras. WDR function allows its action to extend the capabilities of the system of compensation BLC rear lamp. The principle of the extended dynamic range for the WDR is to examine the exposure of individual points of the image, and thus allows both the brightening and darkening of dark elements too lit image areas. As a result, the WDR function get both well lit background and foreground scene observed. Currently, the WDR function can be found in most professional CCTV ² video surveillance.
